SocietyMostly dwelling within the forests of Fenorra, these creatures are spry, fun loving, and seem to find the joy in every situation. They are rather attuned with magic, to the point where all of them use it in some fashion or another.Their community is made up of small villages spread through out the forests of the world.Families tend to live together until the children grow up, and leave for their own lives, much like a human society. Though their lifestyle is more tribal, they are still a civilized people. Pixies can be found lounging in the sunlight, warming themselves, and indulging in sweet fruits, and playing with their friends. No matter what their age, they are child like for most of their lives. At night they are often found dancing under the moon rays. On a full moon, they often hold a festival in celebration of the Faiths, and dance around gigantic bon fires, worshiping the moon. Though like anyone else, they have their moments of not-so nice. The Pixies of Fenorra seem to have a slight issue with others misfortune.In fact they find great joy in other peoples sorrows and pain. Not so much to the point that they would cause the pain and sorrow themselves (though some might), but enough that a display of torture will get them in an uproar, and set them on a rampage for the rest of the evening, looking for more individuals suffering. They are like a child in that respect, when a father hurts himself the child laughs because they think his reaction to the pain is funny. Though this is on a much larger scale. Each individual Pixie is different with their tolerance of other people’s pain, some can’t get enough, while others simply laugh and bounce, then get distracted due to something else completely. So, while they may look nice, sweet and innocent, there is a sickness within them.
Generally how Pixies may feel towards other races:
Calicantars: These creatures of the wood and Pixies share a special bond. It is not an uncommon sight to see several of them dancing around the bonfires worshipping the moon with their pixie friends. Where there is a Pixie party there is usually several of these creatures playing instruments or dancing carefree. Pixies take great delight in the misery some of the Satyrs suffer at the hands of their more violent women, the Maenads. Though, sometimes there is a bit of distrust on the Maenad/ Satyre side of the fence. Dracons: Having had little interaction with Dracons thus far Pixies are unsure how to react to these lizards. Though individual reactions differ there is a general feeling of distrust and hesitation in regards to Dracons. Dúrla: The Durla are highly respected by most pixies. This respect is sometimes regarded so high that a mischievous pixie can be halted by the kind words of a Durla. Pixies look up to the Durla as wise and noble creatures. They are guardians of the forest and Pixies see them as guardians of themselves as well. Elemental Kin: Fully aware of the hatred between the opposing elemental kin Pixies often sow the seeds to create much strife between them. Often where there are several of these creatures fighting amongst themselves there is a pixie laughing hysterically nearby. Elves: Humans: Pixies love human children. A human child is certainly blessed with a best play friend if they befriend a Pixie while they are young. The Human children and Pixies get along like best of friends. When humans pass into adulthood, however; they tend to leave their Pixie friends behind. Something about growing up causes them to lose their childlike imagination. The adult humans perhaps can see the wicked side to pixies and attempt to distance themselves and their children. In order to protect their children many Humans tell stories about Pixies as if they do not exist, calling these stories Fairy Tales. Many a Pixie has a broken heart from a human who turned on them as they grew older. Kobolds: Believing that Kobolds were put here as their personal playmates pixies love to bring them along when they cause mischief. Some pixies even go so far as to attempt to take Kobolds as their personal pets much to the dismay of the Kobold in question. Night Walkers: Pixies are in awe that there is a race that lives in so much suffering. They enjoy being around them to witness their change and the daily challenges they must face. Pixies believe that one Night Walker exists for every human child that broke a Pixies’ heart as they grew up. Patchworks: Pixies have a soft spot in them for Patchworks. Something about these mixed up monsters strikes the small cord of sympathy within the Pixies. It is not uncommon to find Pixies and Patchworks fast friends and in each others company often. Shing Guai: Keeping these creatures at arms reach, Pixies believe their need to drain life to survive is appalling. It is rare that a Pixie would ever allow themselves to be fed upon believing that, that is not how life force is meant to work. Werewolves: Pixies are of the opinion that more humans should be Werewolves. They are infinitely more fun at night when they are howling at the moon with the Pixies than when they are boring humans. ** This package is only possible suggestions, it is completely up to the player as to how they wish to play their character.** | |||
